Interview SprintRescue Mode

Rescue Mode

When planned days slip, Rescue Mode compresses the remaining plan so the days you still have move readiness. It does not wipe the sprint or restart the diagnostic.

When it appears

Rescue opens from Mission Control when nurture is at risk or in rescue, from the missed-days banner, or at /app/sprint/rescue.

What the recovery plan does

The proposal lists three columns:

ColumnMeaning
ProtectCritical mocks, designs and repairs that stay on the calendar
CompressReviews and optional work shortened to fit capacity
RemoveOptional items shed rather than rolled forward forever

Capacity left is shown in minutes. Accepting the plan writes a recovery plan and re-fits the schedule — the same propose / accept pattern as a normal replan, with conflict tokens so a concurrent edit cannot silently overwrite you.

Minimum Viable Win

When the day feels chaotic, Mission Control also offers a Minimum Viable Win: the shortest high-value thread that still protects the critical evidence need. Do that first; then return to the full buckets.

Copy you will not see

Rescue never says the sprint failed, that you are starting over, or that a streak is broken. The point is competence recovery, not punishment.
