Group Discussion AI example

A Group Discussion AI session in progress: the penguin meeting room with name tags and a peer's speech bubble, the session phases, everyone at the table and the live transcript.

Illustrative session. Yours runs on the topic, peers and length you choose.

Instead of reading about GDs, a round to rehearse

A group discussion is judged on what you do in the room, so the practice happens in one.

  1. Angle 1

Reading tips about group discussions → Speaking in a live round, by mic or by keyboard

Peers answer what you actually said, by name, so you practice entering, building on others and steering, not just knowing how.

  2. Angle 2

Waiting for friends to be free for a mock GD → A full table whenever you are ready

Choose your peers from six AI characters: dominator, fact-bringer, agreer, quiet one, opposer and drifter. Each keeps to character for the whole round.

  3. Angle 3

Nobody to moderate, probe or keep time → A three-member AI panel

Dr. Meera Iyer (moderator), Prof. Arvind Rao (domain expert) and Ms. Farah Khan (HR lead) open the round, add new angles, invite quiet members and keep order.

  4. Angle 4

A vague “speak more” after the round → Scores on seven weighted criteria

Content & knowledge, communication, listening, leadership, teamwork, initiative and conclusion quality, scored for you and every AI peer, with a best performer and better lines to try.

Choose, join, discuss, review

From a topic and a table to a scorecard with lines to try next time.

  1. Choose

Pick one of 108 topics across six types, then seat your AI peers.

  2. Join

The panel briefs the room, then think time lets you plan your points.

  3. Discuss

Speak by mic or type. Peers answer you by name and stay in character.

  4. Review

Read everyone's scores on seven criteria, the best performer and better lines to try.

What Group Discussion AI will not do

  • It does not seat you with real people: every peer and panel member is an AI character.
  • It does not predict selection: a panel score is practice feedback, not a cut-off or a rank among real candidates.
  • It never sends your voice to WinJob: only the text of what you say joins the transcript the panel scores.

Past the included sessions, any plan can pay 48 credits a session, the price of one Interview Research run, and a 120-credit pack covers 2 sessions. A session that never gets an AI reply is voided and gives back its session or its credits.

Questions about Group Discussion AI

How is a session paid for?

Free and Pro accounts get one free session. The AI plan includes 10 sessions a month, Interview Sprint Max 100 includes 20 and Interview Sprint Max 200 includes 40. Past that, any plan can pay 48 credits a session, the price of one Interview Research run.

Do I have to speak out loud?

No. You can type every point. If you use the mic, your browser turns your speech into text, and some browsers, Chrome among them, send the audio to their maker's speech service to do it. WinJob receives only the text.

Who sits at the table?

You choose your AI peers from Rohan (dominator), Ananya (fact-bringer), Ishita (agreer), Kabir (quiet one), Vikram (opposer) and Neha (drifter). The panel is Dr. Meera Iyer (moderator), Prof. Arvind Rao (domain expert) and Ms. Farah Khan (HR lead).

What does the panel score?

Seven weighted criteria: content & knowledge 20%, communication 15%, listening 15%, leadership 15%, teamwork 15%, initiative 10% and conclusion quality 10%. Everyone at the table is scored, a best performer is named with reasons, and you get what went well, what to improve and better lines to try.

What if a session stops before the AI replies?

It is voided. A session that never got an AI reply does not use your free or monthly session, and any credits held for it are released.
